About a year ago I bought a few simple supplies and decided to try my hand at metal stamping. I wanted to make a necklace, similar to something I saw at a store. I knew I could probably make it on my own and for a little less than retail. And I was right! I perfected the metal stamping technique after some trial and error with only the very basic supplies. Today I am sharing a step by step video tutorial on metal stamping for beginners. I cover what supplies you absolutely need and how to use them to create your own jewelry.
Here are the metal stamping supplies I picked up last year and a few items I already owned that I use in this process. This technique can be used for just about any type of jewelry. Make a few pieces for yourself, add beads, turn them into bracelets, the possibilities are endless. These also make simple and pretty gifts. You can customize these necklaces with a name or meaningful word and give a truly special gift.
