It sure feels like Spring is here with the temps in the 80’s so I’m celebrating with some DIY mason glitter jars filled with flowers! Make sure you stop by at the end of the post to see what my wonderful blog friends created with their mason jars for our Spring in a Mason Jar Party!
When I think of spring I think of farmers markets, fresh fruits and veggies, gardening and fresh flowers! It has been so nice to see the roses blooming in our front yard and to be able to pick a nice bouquet.
This project is so simple it shouldn’t take you no longer then 10 minutes and you most likely have all the supplies.
You need three simple supplies:
Glitter (any color) (extra fine)
Glossy Mod Podge
Mason Jars
Directions:
~Pour about an inch of Mod Podge in your jar
~Pour about 2 tablespoons of glitter on top of the mod~Tilt the jar while turning until the mixture covers the entire jar
~If you are only making one jar place it upside down on a paper plate so any excess glue pours out. If you are making more then 1 jar, let it drip into another jar.
~Everything should be dry and ready to use within 24 hours.
IMPORTANT~ If you would like to add flowers or anything that needs water into the jar, make sure to place a small plastic cup inside. Then add water into the plastic cup and then the flowers.
~So simple yet so pretty~
