Upcycled Personalized Earbud Case

Kids love having their stuff personalized and I love having their stuff organized! This upcycled earbud case is a blast to make and are perfect for keeping in your purse, school backpack or wherever.

Since all of our kids had earbuds on their back to school supply list this year, we thought this little craft would be a great activity to do as a family. Not only that, it will help keep the kids organized and from getting their earbuds all tangled up.

SUPPLIES

Mint/Gum Container

Mod Podge

DCWV Scrapbook Paper

Scissors

Mason Jar (tracing)

Small letter stickers

DIRECTIONS

Remove the stickers from an empty/used mint container (we used an Icebreaker container). Cut a circle from your scrapbook paper. In order to make ours even, we traced a mason jar as a template.

Fold your circle in half and cut directly down the middle. You will now have two half circles.

Generously apply mod podge to each have circle on the container. Put it onto the paper as well and adhere to the container. Finally, apply a generous layer of mod podge over the top of the paper. Allow to try for at least 10 minutes.

If you want your container to be decorated on both sides, cut a second circle out of scrapbook paper and glue it to the bottom of the container. This time you can leave the circle in one piece. Remember be generous with the Mod Podge. You can’t use too much!

The last step is to use stickers to spell your child’s name on the front of the container. Viola. You’re done! This project took us about 15 minutes from start to finish to do and my daughter it ecstatic to have a little something unique and personalized to add to her back to school supplies.
