Well, it’s only week #2 of our Back to Basics blogging series, and I’m freaking out.
I’ve literally no idea what basic skill I have left to teach you next week. It’s ridiculous, but I’m really realizing how much I lack skills that would be categorized as basic. I have no idea how to cook…I literally burn pasta to the side of the pot every time I try to boil it. I don’t really clean that well, and certainly don’t feel qualified to give you advice in that department. For me to give you parenting or mommy advice would be laughable. {I’m snickering at the idea of me trying to give basic parenting advice…#makingitupasigo}
Yikes. I’m in trouble.
Well, I’ll just take a deep breath and rewind a minute. I figured I could teach you how to make perfect letters on burlap today. This tutorial is SO basic, I don’t even think it requires words. Just look at the pictures.
Enjoy!
Yeah. It’s that easy. The font is called “Steelheart” and I purchased it on Creative Market. I love the swoopy-calligraphy style of the letters, and you may recognize it, as I’ve been using it a lot on my blog lately.
So if you think of anything basic that you think I may be able to teach you…please feel free to let me know!!!
If you missed it, be sure to check out last week’s basic tutorial How to Paint Your Front Door
Don’t forget to swing by these fabulous blogs to see what other skills you can pick up!
Have a great day!
