It’s time to get your craft on! Today’s DIY is incredibly simple, and super cute. Plus, it’s something anyone can appreciate. Why is that? Because it involves gum. While there may be some things you grow out of as an adult, I feel like enjoying gum transcends your age. So get ready to throw things back with this DIY retro gum holder.

I may have been born in the early 90’s, but I’m quite familiar with cassettes. We were late adopters of the CD player at our house, so I remember using cassettes that went with my story books (they helped me memorize Silly Sally and Franklin Gets a Pet). I even remember using my dad’s old walkman and listening to his Paula Abdul tapes while I mowed the lawn (embarrassing, but more so for him than me—they were his tapes after all).

Like I said, these cassettes are so easy to put together! And such a fun way to store your gum. here’s how to do it:

What you Need

• Card Stock
• My Printable
• Scissors
• X-Acto Knife
• Glue
• Magnets (optional)

How to Make

1. Print the design, and cut out the cassette.

2. Fold along the dashed lines.

3. Glue the flaps on the inside of the cassette.

4. Glue magnets to the backside of the cassette if desired.

5. Fill with gum, and enjoy!
